Under the armor · How game state is protected
- Balances, gems, positions, and entries live in the account database—not in the browser.
- Pack rolls happen on the server and are saved before the reveal. Forge and Arena actions are atomic to prevent duplicate spending.
- Scoring imports a third-party football data feed and keeps a per-position breakdown for review.

Strategy: broader cards can select from more NFL teams, but they cost more of your weekly Armor allowance. One mined Gem is one dGem in your shared balance. Use it to forge common positions, or save for a chest.

How pack fairness works
Each chest is locked to a future public drand beacon before its randomness exists. Its signed randomness determines the ten base rolls and, for new chests, a separate treasure roll. The proof reproduces the same result; previously sealed chests retain their original rules.
Per roll: dGem 55% · Silver 24% · Gold 15% · Diamond 5% · Cryptonite 1%. Within each higher tier, 70% become random same-rarity position tokens and 30% stay flexible Forge Gems. If any base roll hits Cryptonite, one Cryptonite reward replaces the other ordinary rewards. Each common reward in a new chest pays 25 dGems. Already own that weekly position? Receive a same-rarity Forge Gem instead. Per new chest, the separate treasure roll has a 5% relic chance and a rarer 1% chance of 100 DGEN; these special outcomes cannot coincide. A special find replaces one common reward, or is added if there is no common reward, including a Cryptonite chest. DGEN uses the shared 20,000-DGEN mining pool and its 800-DGEN allowance per activation-relative 24 hours. If unavailable at delivery, it becomes 25 dGems instead. Technical proof uses SHA-256 with rejection sampling; the eligible position and relic pools are sealed before the beacon.

Relic drops, gifts & single-use perks
Each surprise strike retains a 1-in-64 random relic chance. Earn an additional copy at each ladder milestone: Bank at 5/15/25, Armor at 10/20/30, free listing at 8, free Plunder at 13/23, and free Forge admission at 35.
Relics burn once used and expire Monday at midnight ET. Bank burns only on an improved dGem payout; Armor burns only when needed for one entry and its allowance stays with that saved entry. Choose action passes at their checkout. Gifting never resets strikes or renews expiration. Reserved, used and expired relics cannot be gifted; existing contest-lock restrictions still apply.
Free gifts are not guaranteed swaps. The Auction House supports reviewed DGEN listings; a listing pass waives only its upfront listing fee, not the sale commission. Historical entries keep their original scoring rules.

The contests
How scoring works
You are playing against other submitted Knight Miners—not against the house. The main Arena totals seven position scores; the Second-String Siege totals two RB2 and two WR2 scores from the same Sunday afternoon slate. Prime-Time Joust is a separate score watch, not an extra Arena entry.
- Offense uses full PPR: one point per reception, plus yards and touchdowns, minus turnovers.
- Cards select by fantasy performance, not by a player’s depth-chart label. A team RB1/WR1 scores its highest scorer at that position; RB2/WR2 scores its second-highest scorer.
- Division and conference cards take the best eligible team result in their listed slot. A division RB2, for example, takes the best of its eligible teams’ individual RB2 results—not the division’s second-highest RB overall.
- The Arena’s two RB spaces accept either RB1 or RB2 cards; its two WR spaces accept either WR1 or WR2. Only Second-String Siege requires all four cards to be RB2/WR2.
- Each tournament allows one entry. The same individual card cannot be rostered in both.

Gem codex
Rarity and scoring reach
A higher rarity does not multiply fantasy points or guarantee a better result. A token’s scope and slot determine which eligible performances it can score; rarity sets its Gem cost and Armor weight. Armor is your lineup-building budget, not a score bonus.
When the OddsBuilder catalog is applied: all conference positions are Cryptonite, all division positions are Diamond, and team RB2 / WR2 positions are common dGem. Team QB, RB1, WR1, TE1 and D/ST positions are ranked separately within each position: the upper half are Gold and the rest are Silver. The weekly slate and projection catalog open automatically from Wednesday at 10 AM Eastern when the schedule and projections pass verification; missing data is retried hourly before Sunday noon. Realm Health also offers a manual preview and confirmation for projection updates. Check the Forge’s projection status for the applied week and revision.
Before a projection catalog is applied: the original scope-and-slot policy remains: team RB2 / WR2 are dGem; team primary / D/ST are Silver; division RB2 / WR2 / D/ST are Gold; division primary or conference RB2 / WR2 / D/ST are Diamond; conference primary are Cryptonite. Existing Vault tokens keep their original rarity, scope, slot and Armor when a new policy is applied. Submitted lineups remain intact.
New treasure chests keep the same base rarity rolls, with 25 dGems for each common reward. Common bundles are combined in the reveal. Within Silver, Gold, Diamond and Cryptonite, 70% of outcomes grant a random position token of that rarity; 30% stay a flexible Forge Gem. Tokens arrive already forged. The pool and week are sealed when the chest is purchased. A duplicate weekly position becomes a same-rarity Forge Gem instead. Cryptonite replaces the ordinary rewards with one jackpot Gem or token. A separate per-chest treasure roll grants a relic at 5%, or 100 DGEN at 1% while the shared mining allocation and daily allowance last. A special find replaces one common reward or is added when there is none. Unavailable DGEN becomes 25 dGems; relics go to the Vault and DGEN to the recorded balance with a ledger receipt. A later projection update does not change a previously sealed chest’s pool, rarity or proof, or existing inventory.
Check the live Armor allowance in the Arena before forging. Available cards depend on the contest’s eligible teams; owning a team card does not put that team into a slate.
Unused forged positions stay in your Vault. Submitted cards are reserved for their entry. Edit free before lock; swapped-out cards return to your Vault when you save, and only the final roster is permanently burned at lock.
Weekly, single-use relics
Earn it. Use it. Burn it.
Random relic finds stay in the Mine and treasure chests. Surprise strikes retain their independent 1-in-64 relic chance; a relic is not guaranteed every 64 strikes. Existing artwork now carries useful one-use perks instead of passive score bonuses for new entries.
- 5 / 15 / 25 strikes: Iron / Steel / Crown Striker — one improved dGem strike at a 30% / 35% / 50% minimum bank rate.
- 10 / 20 / 30 strikes: Iron / Steel / Crown Guard — +1 / +2 / +3 Armor for one new tournament entry, burned only if needed. Its allowance stays with that entry for edits.
- 8 strikes: Violet Mark — waive one Auction House listing fee, not the sale commission.
- 13 and 23 strikes: Silver Sentinel and Gilded Warden — each waives one Sanctioned Plunder purchase for two strikes. The manual availability toggle, pauses, random rewards and shared reserve limits still apply.
- 35 strikes: Crypt Aura — waive the weekly Forge admission. New paid admission uses the displayed dGem quote converted from the 100-DGEN benchmark at the current master rate. Normal position recipes still cost Gems.
Each milestone awards an actual copy once per week, even if you already own that design. Gifting and burning never reset or re-award your strike progress. Alternate random-drop designs grant their family’s same action perk.
Every relic burns on use. All unused copies expire Monday at midnight Eastern, including bought or gifted copies. Weekly Forge admission and ladder progress reset then too. Old receipts and saved entries are preserved; historical entries retain their original scoring rules. Action-pass checkouts ask before burning; Bank burns only when it improves a dGem payout, and Armor only when the entry needs it.
Mining watch
Daily and surprise veins
One mined Gem equals one dGem; they share the same spendable balance. The daily +200 Gem seam opens at 8:00 AM ET and is available during mining hours while the shared reward reserve lasts. Regular mines close daily at 11:59 PM Eastern and reopen at 8:00 AM Eastern, following New York time and daylight saving. Manual mining, auto-mining and mining alerts rest overnight; Forge settings and opening already-owned treasure chests are separate. Missed days do not stack: only one +200 seam is waiting when you return. Claim it before mining regular surprise veins.
The realm shares a daily reward allowance, initially 500 strikes, resetting at 8 AM Eastern. Each daily +200 seam and each successful surprise or Plunder strike uses one unit. Legendary group-bonus delivery does not use another unit. The percentage bar shows the reserve used; the current limit is adjustable in Realm Health. When it is full: “Mines are drained. We’re diggin’ deeper. Come back soon.”
Dynamite · daytime auction: bidding opens and the fuse lights at the two-minute warning; bidding closes when the vein opens. The highest bid wins; later bids never extend the deadline. Claim your daily seam first. New bids use dGems at the auction’s saved master rate. The starting-price benchmark is 100 DGEN, each bid-step benchmark is 5 DGEN, and the ceiling benchmark is 10,000 DGEN; review the actual dGem quote before bidding. A rate change does not reprice an auction already in progress. Sanctioned Plunder pricing is separate. Already-funded earlier auctions finish under their recorded rules.
For new auctions, the leading bid is reserved from your available dGems. If outbid, your full reserved amount is returned. Everyone can strike the Dynamite vein and keeps ordinary dGem rewards. The winner may steal one random non-dGem find for each distinct bidder, up to that limit across the vein; raising your own bid does not add to it. Only actual random relics, Golden Tickets and DGEN treasure can be taken. A miner whose find is taken receives 100 dGems per stolen find instead. The winner’s own finds, earned ladder relics and Legendary group bonuses are not stolen and do not use the limit.
The first successful strike by any miner activates the raid and charges the winning bid once. The bid pays for the raid opportunity—not guaranteed loot—and remains paid even if no special finds appear. An unactivated raid expires or is refunded if mining is paused or Dynamite is disabled. After activation, disabling Dynamite stops further theft but does not reverse completed rewards. Your pickaxe may still strike normally; there are no extra synthetic strikes. Each ordinary strike uses one shared-reserve unit. Normal reward odds apply; finds may be worth less than the bid.
Sanctioned Plunder · on-demand strikes: the Realm Health admin controls when it is enabled and shown, with no time-of-day schedule. When enabled, the displayed dGem quote, converted from the configured benchmark at the current master rate, buys two random mining strikes while two shared-reserve units remain. Or explicitly burn one Silver/Gilded action relic to waive that purchase price. It does not require bidding and cannot bypass a maintenance pause. Disabling it hides it and stops new purchases. Dynamite keeps its separate schedule and toggle.
Historical Dynamite and Sanctioned Plunder DGEN payments remain in their separate pots. Realm Health shows each balance beside its controls, with its own Council allocation percentage and a reviewed manual Distribute action. Changing a percentage moves no funds; undistributed DGEN stays in its pot. The older Plunder pot retains any previously combined income. The price-labelled Dynamite button places that exact bid in one click; a stale price is rejected, never automatically raised. Sanctioned Plunder still has a purchase review. New dGem charges are held separately and do not become DGEN proceeds. Recover an uncertain operation using its saved request instead of paying again. Earlier receipts and completed rewards are preserved; recovery and refunds retain the original payment currency. Older DGEN auctions accept no new bids and retain their recorded settlement and refund rules.
- New Legendary veins unlock a group bonus at five successful strikers. Everyone who strikes that vein gets one extra Forge Gem: 90% Gold, 10% Diamond—including the first four and every later striker before closing. Fewer than five means no group bonus. This Forge Gem bonus is separate from the personal strike reward below. Delivery is automatic; see your latest five bonus receipts in the Mine.
- A surprise strike rolls 400 Gems (50%), 700 (30%), or 1,000 (20%). For ordinary Gem strikes, your current bank rate determines how many dGems reach your spendable balance. For example, a 700 strike at 30% banks 210 dGems—not 700.
- Every surprise strike has an independent chance of finding a complete action relic—even after lineup submission or lock. A random relic, newly earned ladder relic or Golden Ticket replaces the strike’s dGem payout; you keep your strike progress.
- DGEN treasure comes from a separate, finite 20,000-DGEN allocation shared by mining and new chest DGEN finds. After relic and ticket outcomes, remaining strikes have a 10% chance to find 100 recorded DGEN instead of dGems, while supply is available. At most 800 DGEN can be found across the realm in each 24-hour period measured from activation; unused daily capacity does not roll over. If the cap or total supply is reached, the strike returns to ordinary Gem rewards. See the Mine for remaining supply and the Vault for your latest DGEN mining receipts. This is not an automatic on-chain transfer or a Treasury debit.
- Your first four actual weekly strikes bank at least 100%, 80%, 40% and 20%; the base then stays at 20%. Earn Bank relics at 5, 15 and 25 ladder strikes for 30%, 35% and 50% minimum bank rates. These are minimum rates, not extra percentages added together. One eligible Bank relic burns only when it improves a dGem payout. No burn for special-item/DGEN rewards or a stronger base rate. Gifted Bank benefits start next vein.
- Earn Armor relics at 10, 20 and 30 ladder strikes for +1, +2 and +3 Armor. One weakest sufficient Armor relic burns if a new lineup needs extra Armor. That allowance stays with the entry for pre-lock edits; other entries need their own relic.
- Weekly strike counts determine the ladder. Every milestone grants one copy once per week; gifts and burns never reset progress or re-award earlier stages.
- All unused relics, ladder progress and weekly Forge admission reset Monday at midnight ET. Used relics burn. Unspent dGems carry forward; only the shared mining reserve refills at 8 AM.
- Optional push alerts can deliver the daily call and surprise-vein warning even when the site is closed. On iPhone or iPad, add Knight Miners to the Home Screen first. Device restrictions can still delay or suppress alerts.
How does the Auction House work?
Open Auction House in the Vault to buy or list one unused Golden Ticket or eligible relic at a fixed DGEN price. The launch fees are 50 DGEN to list and 10% of the sale price; your review always shows the current listing fee and exact seller proceeds. The listing fee is non-refundable, including cancellation or expiry. Buyers pay only the displayed price. Sale fees are rounded down to whole DGEN and deducted from the seller’s proceeds.
Both fees stay in a separate Auction House pot until sdot manually distributes it to the Council. A listed item cannot also be gifted, sold to the Bank or consumed for entry. Cancel an unsold listing to unlock it. Purchases retain the original item, source and week; relic deadlines are not extended. Prize items, positions and currency cannot be listed. If a request is interrupted, check its saved receipt instead of submitting a second payment.
Primetime Joust · whole-game challenge
Choose your champion. Collect your strikes.
Back one team position for the displayed entry fee, including overtime: QB, RB1, WR1, TE or DST. The default is 1,000 dGems; review the current dGem price before entering. New paid entries use dGems; legacy DGEN-only fees convert at the current master rate instead of becoming free. Choose a position from either team—not an individual player. One entry per game; edits are free until kickoff. Earlier entries keep their recorded terms. Follow the NFL score and your Joust together in Live Battlefield.
- QB, RB1, WR1 and TE follow that team’s current highest-scoring player at the position. DST follows the whole defense/special-teams unit. A change in the leading player does not award old touchdowns again.
- A new rushing, receiving or return touchdown by the position’s current scoring leader earns a Strike; DST can earn one for a defensive or special-teams touchdown. Passing touchdowns are not scorer touchdowns.
- Otherwise, a gain of at least 6 fantasy points between accepted updates can earn one surge Strike when it reaches a new high. A +12 update still earns one surge—not two. The same update never awards both a touchdown Strike and a surge Strike.
- These are saved score updates, not play-by-play. The first update sets the score baseline. Duplicate updates and correction rebounds do not award again. Strikes remain provisional until the game and final scoring checks finish, then arrive in your Vault. They do not boost Arena scores or mining ranks.
Keep verified Strikes, send a quantity to another knight from the Vault, or visit the Iron Bank directly beneath Vault in the menu. The Bank’s opening offer is 100 recorded DGEN per Joust Strike. Review the quantity and total before confirming. Sending is a free gift, not a guaranteed paid swap. Selling permanently retires the Strikes and newly credits the DGEN to your recorded balance; the Treasury balance is not debited and does not need to fund the sale. Your Strike ledger records earnings, sends, receipts and Bank sales.
dGems pay the entry; DGEN is the separate recorded balance used for Bank proceeds and prizes. There is no automatic conversion of all mining Gems into DGEN and no automatic on-chain payment. A game or Bank marked closed is not accepting new paid actions.
What is Curated Carnage?
A separate Council-curated primetime tournament in Live Battlefield. New direct DGEN-paid contest entries are unavailable; this does not automatically replace their fee with free entry. Saved entries remain under their original terms. Each configured Council row selects a team position, and repeated positions score once for each row. These choices do not use or consume your Vault positions.
For earlier paid entries, the recorded fee was the average of the configured Council costs, rounded up to whole DGEN. Council members fund the prize pool separately from entry proceeds. Saved costs, contributions, payout percentages and receipts are unchanged. One entry per knight; edits remain free until kickoff under the saved rules.
Team-position fantasy scores use the existing saved feed and remain provisional until verified final results. Existing funded rounds retain their displayed prize percentages, tie rules, settlement and cancellation terms. Historical payments and any recorded refunds remain in DGEN history.
Common questions
FAQ
Tap a question to expand it. Check your eligibility, the Arena’s displayed deadline and its current entry requirements before entering.
Who can participate?
You must be 18 or older and legally permitted to participate where you are physically located. Do not participate from a restricted area. Void where prohibited. New miners confirm eligibility when creating their profile; this is a self-attestation, not age or location verification. Signing in, owning DGEN or seeing an available activity does not establish eligibility. Read the Beta & fair-play notice before proceeding.
Can I mine before the Forge opens?
Yes—when mining is open, collect Gems while the weekly Forge is closed. Having Gems does not open forging early. The weekly guide says “Keep mining. Forge opens later” and disables its Forge step until an open slate and Forge availability are confirmed. Opening starts Wednesday at 10 AM Eastern when the schedule and projections pass verification; missing data is retried hourly before Sunday noon. The guide updates when the Forge actually opens. Squire Setup is a separate free welcome gift; it does not unlock forging or enter a contest. If you already own the required eligible positions, you can build a lineup while Arena entry is open. A saved entry remains viewable after lock.
Why did my strike give an item or DGEN but no dGems?
New surprise strikes that find a random relic, ladder relic or Golden Ticket award the item instead of common dGems. Independent item rolls can still coincide, and successful strikes still advance your track. Otherwise, an eligible strike has a 10% chance at 100 recorded DGEN, subject to the shared 20,000-DGEN promotional pool and 800-DGEN allowance per activation-relative 24 hours. A miss or exhausted allowance pays ordinary dGems. Daily +200 Gems and the Legendary five-striker Gold/Diamond group bonus are unchanged. This does not remove rewards from earlier strikes.
Check the Mine’s remaining supply and allowance reset time. DGEN is not taken from the Iron Bank Treasury and is not an on-chain transfer. Reopen Your last strike to read its result; the Vault keeps your latest 20 DGEN mining receipts. New treasure chests keep the displayed Gem cost and verifiable randomness, with 25-dGem common rewards, a 5% relic chance and a rarer 1% roll for 100 DGEN from that same capped pool. Old sealed chests keep their original rewards and proof.
Where can I see my DGEN transaction history?
Click your DGEN balance in the Vault or Iron Bank to open your private history. It shows recorded credits and debits, transaction labels, times and resulting balances when recorded—including mining treasure, prizes, Council income, purchases and admin transfers. Only your signed-in account can see your personal history. Older balance changes without receipts are flagged as a history gap; the ledger does not invent transactions or change your balance. Load older pages or refresh when needed. These reads do not call the sports provider. DGEN is separate from mining dGems, and withdrawal requests still go through Send a Raven for manual review.
How do swaps, donations and earlier deposits work?
The Iron Bank’s Get DGEN button opens Aerodrome on Base. Check the token, quote and fees in your wallet. After a successful purchase, review its transaction hash and the displayed swap dGem reward before signing the free ownership message. DGEN stays in your wallet; swaps add no recorded DGEN. Transfers and gifts are not swaps. Each transaction is rewarded once, up to 100,000 DGEN; larger requests use Send a Raven.
New recorded-DGEN deposits have ended. The earlier-deposit recovery panel is only for transfers sent before the published cutoff, under their original deposit terms. Do not send new funds to an old deposit address. Existing balances and receipts are preserved.
The voluntary DGEN donation box starts hidden and disabled. The owner can activate it in Realm Health. When open, it shows the receiving address and current dGem reward rate. Donations award only the displayed dGems: no spendable or withdrawable DGEN is credited to your site account. Use your own supported Base wallet and a free ownership signature; no token approval or recovery phrase is needed. Whole-dGem rewards round down per transaction, so small donations can earn zero. The default donation rate is 1 dGem per 50 DGEN, adjustable separately from swap rewards. Earlier receipts retain their recorded amounts. Do not send while donations are closed. Existing donation receipts remain available in history.
How is Council DGEN income paid?
New Iron Bank relic and treasure-chest payments accumulate in a held DGEN pot, shown at the top of the Bank. They are not paid out automatically. In Realm Health, an admin can preview and confirm distribution of a chosen percentage of the eligible pot using the Council seats and split policy active at that time. The default is equal shares; custom positive weights are normalized across eligible members, and whole-DGEN rounding preserves the total. If the pot, seats, splits or payout controls change after the preview, a fresh review is required. Empty or expired seats receive no share, and an empty Council leaves the pot held.
New Plunder and Dynamite dGem payments are held separately. Forge admission also uses dGems. None creates DGEN Council income. Historical DGEN activity pots remain available under their saved manual distribution rules. Council seat fees still collect in a separate DGEN pot; historical funds are not swept. The retired Pitch & Toss reserve remains available for historical fund management and eligible Council distributions. Realm Health provides a separate 0–100% Council allocation for each source. Saving a percentage moves no funds. Preview the recipients and exact amount, then confirm Distribute; the remainder stays in that source. Already-allocated historical payments retain their original settlement rules. Existing Treasury funds are not swept, and mining treasure or Joust redemption credits are not Bank purchase income. Confirmed distributions appear in Council receipts, private DGEN history and admin ledgers. Income depends on activity and is not a guaranteed return.
Can I pay dGem prices with DGEN?
Treasure chests offer either dGems or a reviewed DGEN payment calculated from the master valuation rate. Gem sales and exchanges have ended. New contest entries and Common Forge recipes do not accept direct DGEN payment. Higher-rarity Forge positions still require physical Gems earned through gameplay or received from another player. Review each activity’s current requirements.
The owner can adjust the master valuation rate and chest price in Realm Health. Changes affect supported new payments; existing balances and saved receipts retain their terms. Historical DGEN payment receipts remain recoverable.
What does Squire Setup include?
Squire Setup is a one-time welcome gift: two free treasure chests and one Squire Golden Ticket, awarded after both chests finish. It is for verified accounts with no recorded gameplay, including existing accounts that have not played. Signing up or depositing DGEN alone does not disqualify an account. No dGems or DGEN are spent, and chest prices and exchange rates do not affect the gift. Normal random chest rewards apply; the gift does not guarantee a full lineup or automatically forge positions. Interrupted claims can be resumed without losing completed rewards. Review your rewards in Forge and Vault, then build and enter your lineup yourself under the tournament's current rules. The welcome gift does not reset weekly.
How do Golden Tickets work?
From the Sunday, September 20 Arena onward, the default is that each new main Arena entry consumes one Golden Ticket. A week's displayed entry rules may specify a different fee or choice of items. Edits do not cost another, and previously submitted entries stay valid. Second-String Siege and Joust are unchanged.
Each successful surprise strike has an independent, adjustable chance to find one ticket, instead of that strike’s dGem payout. Check the current percentage in the Vault or Iron Bank; a percentage is not a guaranteed ticket after a fixed number of strikes. You can also receive tickets from another player, buy a player-listed ticket in Auctions, or receive one through the one-time Squire welcome gift if eligible. The Iron Bank no longer sells tickets. Sell an unused ticket to the Iron Bank at the displayed sellback price: it is permanently retired and the credit appears in your DGEN history. Review the current quote before confirming. Sellback price changes affect future sellbacks only; historical receipts keep their original amounts. Sale credits do not draw from the Treasury and are not on-chain transfers.
Unused Golden Tickets stay in your Vault across weeks and beta resets. Send them to another verified player from the Vault; transfers are gifts, not guaranteed swaps. Once consumed by an entry or sold, a ticket cannot be transferred or reused. Keep one if you still need your next Arena entry.
What does Arena entry cost, and how are prizes split?
Check the current Arena panel before entering. Available rules may require dGems, Golden Tickets, Joust Strikes or specific relics, either together or as listed alternatives. New direct DGEN-paid contest entries are unavailable; legacy DGEN-only fees convert to a reviewed dGem quote at the current master rate. Review and confirm the available requirements before your first entry. Entry items are consumed permanently. Only unused, unexpired relics for the entry’s current calendar week are eligible. Consuming an active relic removes its bonus, and your new lineup must fit the remaining Armor allowance. Existing entries are never charged again, their recorded payments remain unchanged, and lineup edits remain free before lock.
The total Arena DGEN pool is adjustable before lock; first through fifth keep 40% / 25% / 15% / 10% / 10%. Whole-DGEN rounding goes to first place, and only occupied prize places pay. The pool and entry rules freeze at lock. Previously awarded prizes do not change. Second-String Siege keeps its separate position-token rewards.
Why can’t common Gems fill my QB, TE or D/ST?
Common dGems forge team RB2 and WR2 cards, which can fill Second-String Siege. The main Arena also needs QB, TE and D/ST cards. Those team cards are Silver under the original catalog; when an OddsBuilder catalog is applied, they can be Silver or Gold according to their position’s projection ranking. Division and conference cards use the current policy shown in the Forge. You can spend a higher-rarity Gem on a lower-rarity card, but the entire Gem is consumed and no change is returned. Owned tokens keep the rarity they had when received.
How much Armor can my lineup use?
The main Arena’s base allowance is 18 for Week 1 (September 13) and 15 from Week 2 onward. Second-String Siege’s base allowance is 12. Your strongest eligible owned Armor relic can add up to +3; +1, +2 and +3 relics do not add together. Armor limits the cards you can roster—it does not add fantasy points. Always check the allowance displayed for the contest you are entering.
What are the September 13 tournament prizes?
For Week 1 (Sunday, September 13), Sunday Knight Arena awards up to 50,000 DGEN across the top five: 20,000 / 12,500 / 7,500 / 5,000 / 5,000. Only filled prize places are awarded; there is no Gem participation payout. Second-String Siege awards one Diamond position token for first, two Gold for second, and one Gold for third. Siege positions are randomly assigned and automatically delivered to the Vault after final, verified results, ready for the September 20 beta week. Check the Arena’s prize panel for each week’s rewards.
How do DGEN prizes and withdrawals work?
Your recorded DGEN balance appears in the Vault, separately from spendable dGems. Tournament DGEN prizes, mining DGEN finds and confirmed Joust Strike redemptions add to that balance. Recorded DGEN can pay for Council seats or single-use relics at the Iron Bank. There is no automatic conversion of your balance. Recording a prize is not an on-chain deposit. Winterfell reviews and processes requests manually. Submitting a Raven does not instantly withdraw funds. Never share a seed phrase or private key.
Can I buy specific Gems or relics?
The Iron Bank no longer sells Gems. It still sells single-use action relics at the displayed DGEN price. You can buy one relic per family per assigned week; variants share the family limit. Use a relic before Monday midnight ET. Bank and Armor relics remain ladder rewards or player trades. Auctions continue to offer player-listed tickets and relics. Gem auctions are not offered. Existing purchase receipts and protected inventory remain intact.
Can I turn mined dGems into higher-rarity Gems?
Direct Gem exchanges have ended. Existing Gems retain their saved inventory and protection. The Iron Bank keeps past exchange receipts and exact saved-request recovery available. Earn higher-rarity Gems through gameplay or receive them from another player.
Will my DGEN purchases survive a reset?
Unspent Bank-purchased Gems keep their existing beta-reset protection. Ordinary Gems are spent before protected Gems. Spending a Gem in the Forge consumes it normally; the resulting position follows the normal Vault rules. All relics, including bought and gifted copies, are single-use and expire Monday at midnight ET; buying one does not protect it from that expiration. Recorded DGEN and completed transaction history are not cleared by the weekly relic reset.
Is a Joust Strike the same as a relic or a mining strike?
No. A Joust Strike is a collectible earned by your chosen primetime player. It adds no fantasy points, Armor or mining bank-rate benefit. After final verification it can be kept, sent to another knight, or sold at the Iron Bank at the current displayed DGEN price while buying is open. Open the Strike history in your Vault or the Bank to see where each quantity came from or went.
Where can I see the other Joust riders?
After kickoff, look beneath the primetime player scores for Riders in the lists. It shows each knight’s username, selected rider and Strikes earned in that game only—not their mining count. Live totals are provisional until final verification; refunded entries are marked separately. Picks stay hidden before kickoff. This table reads saved game data and makes no extra sports-provider calls.
What happens when I sell a Strike to the Iron Bank?
Each verified Strike sold is permanently retired, not held by the Treasury or returned to circulation. You receive the displayed recorded DGEN amount per Strike. This does not deduct from the Realm Treasury, require a funded Treasury balance, or touch mining Gems and other Vault items. The sale and DGEN amount appear in your Strike history. It is an in-game balance credit, not an automatic on-chain transfer.
Why didn’t a big play immediately award a Joust Strike?
Joust reuses the saved player-stat updates, not a play-by-play feed. A recorded scorer touchdown counts; otherwise the player needs a net gain of at least 6 fantasy points in one accepted update and a new score high. Several plays may arrive in one update, and negative points may offset gains. A score surge and a touchdown are not both paid from the same update. Updates can be delayed, and Strikes stay provisional until final verification. A missing first score baseline cannot create a surge award.
What if a send or Bank sale times out?
Do not start another transaction. The saved request can be retried to confirm its original outcome without a second debit or payout. Pending requests block new sends and sales until resolved. Check the quantity and recipient carefully before the first confirmation: gifts are not trade offers waiting for acceptance.
Where can I follow live football and my lineup?
Open Live Battlefield for NFL scores, game periods/clocks, and Arena standings. All submitted Arena and Siege lineups become public at Arena lock—even before the first scoring update. Tap any miner’s name to inspect their lineup. Before lock, other miners’ lineups stay private. Select a game to see the latest saved player and position breakdowns. These views share the same saved scoring updates; “live” does not mean every second. If one game’s stats are delayed, other verified games keep updating; affected positions retain their last verified points or show pending. Totals and rankings remain provisional, and prizes wait for complete final stats. Battlefield Pulse shows the latest verified positive position gain beneath each game. These are changes between saved updates, not individual plays; when gains share an update, the largest is shown. Check the update timestamp and any delayed-feed notice.
When does the next vein open?
The current random scheduling interval is 18–36 minutes, not a fixed countdown from your last strike. Surprise veins stay open for 30 seconds, with their exact opening revealed during the final two minutes. Ale Pub shows the interval until a saved opening is available, then shows the countdown or open window. Collect your daily seam first. Tap Ready my pickaxe and wait for the server confirmation before leaving. That saves one automatic strike for the announced vein, even if your device sleeps or you close the page. It does not arm future veins, bypass maintenance pauses, or award a missed past strike. Push alerts are separate. Return to check the saved result; service interruptions can still prevent a strike.
How do Ale Pub clinks work?
Text messaging is off. Tap a knight in Knights in the Realm to raise a shared toast to them. Connected players can see the clink and hear its sound when alerts and device settings allow. Knights in the Realm shows connected players, not necessarily players reading the Pub; mobile shows the names without expanding. Closing the Pub or switching main-app views keeps clinks for this page visit. Leaving or reloading clears your local history; other players may still have theirs. Nothing is saved for your next visit.
How do I gift a relic?
In the Vault, select an unused, unexpired relic and choose Send to player. Confirm the recipient and serial number. Gifting is free and is not a guaranteed swap. Eligible DGEN sales use the separate Auction House and its displayed rules and fees. Gifting transfers one copy, and never resets either player’s weekly strike progress. The recipient gets the same Monday expiration; a gifted Bank relic starts on the next vein. Reserved, used or expired items cannot be gifted. Existing contest-lock restrictions still apply.
How do I Join the Seven?
Player-rented Council seats use the same daily DGEN fee, including the first three. Seat five is reserved for the Knights of Degen holder pool, not a personal rental. Choose an available rental seat. The Council shows the current price before you confirm; it is charged from your separate recorded DGEN balance, with daily renewal at 8 AM Eastern. New seat payments stay in a separate held Treasury pot until an admin manually distributes a chosen percentage to the Council. The first charge lasts until the next 8 AM renewal. Realm Health can change the daily fee. New claims use the updated price immediately; existing holders use it from the next eligible 8 AM renewal, with paid time preserved and no retroactive charges. Stale price confirmations are rejected until refreshed. Mining Gems are not spent. Stop renewal to end future charges; insufficient balance frees the seat without debt. Existing Gem-payment consent does not authorize DGEN charges.
How do Knights of Degen holder rewards work?
The fifth Council seat represents the Ethereum Knights of Degen collection. Its Council proceeds collect in a separate holder pot. Verify your wallet in the Vault’s collapsed Knights section; one wallet is permanently linked per account. NFTs stay in your wallet. Each Knight is permanently registered once by chain, collection and token ID. Rescans update its saved display, but transferring it to another wallet cannot create another registration.
For new reward rounds, Winterfell can preview and manually allocate the pot among registered holders whose original linked wallet still owns at least one of its first-registered Knights at the verified Ethereum snapshot. Each eligible holder gets one equal share, regardless of NFT count. Whole-DGEN leftovers carry forward. A sold Knight no longer qualifies its old wallet for future snapshots. Earlier rounds keep their saved entitlements; later transfers do not move those claims. Sign a free ownership message with your registered wallet to claim each round once. These are site-DGEN credits, not on-chain transfers or guaranteed rewards. Staked or custodied NFTs are not inferred as personally owned.
What carries into the next beta week?
Automatic dGem resets remain disabled. dGems, higher-rarity Gems, recorded DGEN and positions keep their existing carry-over rules. Relics are different: every unused relic expires Monday at midnight Eastern, and used relics are burned. Weekly ladder progress and Forge admission also reset then. Historical receipts and previously saved lineup allowances remain intact.
Separate, admin-confirmed beta resets may replace ordinary mining Gems or remove unused non-prize positions and eligible non-prize relics. These are not automatic Monday actions; prize items, unspent Bank Gem purchases and submitted lineups are protected by the reset controls. That protection does not extend a relic’s Monday expiry. A 2,000-Gem beta reset is not a recurring weekly grant.
Can I get tournament alerts while mining is paused?
Yes. The Mine’s push-alert control connects this device to mining calls and tournament rank changes. After a quiet first baseline, verified moves up or down in Sunday Knight Arena or Second-String Siege can trigger one combined alert per scoring update—even with the site closed. Tap it to open Live Battlefield. These use saved standings, with no additional sports API calls. Unchanged ranks stay quiet; incomplete or stale scoring updates wait. Turn off alerts on this device to stop both types. The realm’s separate notification pause stops both; a mining pause stops only mining calls. Device notification permissions, Focus modes, and browser restrictions still apply.
Where are my past Pitch & Toss receipts?
Pitch & Toss has been removed and new tosses are unavailable. Historical receipts and exact saved-request recovery remain in the Iron Bank. Existing balances, inventory and settled results retain their original records.
Will the same email work on mobile and desktop?
Yes. Enter the same email and request a fresh six-digit code. It signs you into the same account and syncs your Gems, positions, relics, and lineup; it does not create a duplicate.
Am I playing standard DFS against everyone?
You submit one seven-position lineup against the entire Arena leaderboard. Scoring uses full-PPR fantasy points on the Sunday main slate, with best-ball selection for broader division and conference cards.
What is the Second-String Siege?
It is a separate weekly side tournament requiring exactly two RB2 cards and two WR2 cards. It has its own entry and leaderboard. Review the displayed free or dGem entry rule before entering. New direct DGEN-paid entries and DGEN payment alternatives are unavailable; a legacy DGEN-only fee converts to the reviewed dGem price at the current master rate, not free entry. Earlier entries keep their recorded terms. A card can be reserved for only one tournament at a time. Edit free until lock; only the final four are burned.
What are the High Tables?
The Mine shows separate rankings for in-game DGEN and dGem holdings. The dGem High Table displays the top ten eligible holders. sdot is excluded from both. Each table has its own admin-set DGEN prize pool and rank split; payouts are manual, once per round, and rankings can change until payout. Tied holders share the prizes for the ranks they occupy, including ties beyond the visible top ten. A zero pool means no prizes are scheduled.
Can I edit a submitted lineup?
Yes—both the Sunday Knight Arena and Second-String Siege allow free edits until the displayed contest deadline. Choose Edit lineup, make your swaps, then Save changes. Your saved entry stays entered while you work. Swapped-out cards return to your Vault only after a successful save. Cancel discards your draft and restores the saved lineup. There is no editing fee or Armor penalty, and your original entry time is preserved for ties. One contest-wide lock applies; it is not a rolling lock at each player’s kickoff. At lock, editing closes and your final roster is burned.
Can I still find relics after entering?
Yes. Lineup submission does not close the Mine. Random relic drops remain, and the ladder now awards Bank, Armor and action relics. Each find belongs to its calendar week, even after Sunday lock; it expires at Monday midnight ET. Relics no longer grant passive score bonuses to new entries. Historical entries keep their original scoring rules.
Do positions last all season?
An unused forged position remains in your Vault for future eligible weeks. A submitted position is reserved for its entry. Before lock, you can swap it out and save to return it to your Vault. Positions left in the final lineup at lock are burned and cannot be reused.
Why didn’t my mining alert appear?
Push alerts are enabled separately on each device. Open de-fs.com in Safari, Chrome, or Edge—not another app’s built-in browser. On iPhone or iPad, first use Share → Add to Home Screen, open Knight Miners from that icon, and enable alerts in the Mine. If permission was blocked, use Fix alert permissions in the Mine. Also check Focus or Do Not Disturb mode. Use Send test alert after setup; an enabled switch does not guarantee that your device will display every alert. Readying a pickaxe and enabling push alerts are separate actions.
Why does something say Closed?
A wooden Closed sign names the feature that is unavailable. Mining and Forging have separate pause controls, so the Mine can reopen while the Forge stays closed. Neither pause by itself closes Live Battlefield, your saved Vault or the rest of the site. Entry and transfer controls can be paused separately, and the Iron Bank can stop buying. Saved items and lineups remain viewable; a maintenance pause does not promise to extend the contest deadline. Check the displayed lock time and any message from the team.
How do I send feedback or read a reply?
Use Send feedback in the menu or Send a raven in the Alliance Council to contact Winterfell. Include what happened, which page you were on, your device/browser, and the steps that led to the problem. Open Ravens in the top bar to see your messages and Winterfell’s replies. Ale Pub is for shared clinks—not text messages or private support. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, seed phrases or private keys.
Where do the football stats come from?
Official scoring is imported from API-Sports. Sleeper supplements the matchup board’s roster and depth-chart context. Knight Miners does not scrape ESPN.
What happens in a scoring correction or tie?
Official-feed corrections may update scores before results settle. Ties are ordered by the earlier valid Arena submission, then by the saved entry ID.

Supabase Auth links progress to the verified email account. Game balances and entries are enforced server-side. Treasure-chest results are committed to a future public drand beacon, official scoring comes from API-Sports, and Sleeper supplies supplemental roster context.
